Who Am I?
Great Question; I often wonder the same thing.
For the sake of this exercise, I’m a contemporary artist working across wildlife, landscape, and abstract painting, usually guided by atmosphere rather than strict subject matter — which is a polite way of saying I paint what feels right at the time.
My work moves between detailed studies of animals, large-scale landscapes, and more experimental abstract pieces. Sometimes they behave themselves and stay in their categories. Sometimes they don’t.
I’m interested in texture, presence, and the quieter details that tend to get overlooked until you realise you’ve been focused on them for so long you’re no longer entirely sure what the original plan was.
