This is quite possible the most realistic piece i've done thus far, and one of my favorites for delicate detail.

Produced on PastelMatt, a fine artist grade pastel paper, with Faber Castell Pastel Pencil and Sticks, you can see the layering and depth that has gone into the fur for texture, and eyes for glossiness. This young cub had perched upon the edge of the branch, and certainly catches my attention.

It must be framed with a double mount, or mount with a good depth, due to the nature of the pastel. There will be some residual dust, so it'll be important not to touch the piece too much, especially not with oily fingers! The further the mount separates the painting from the glass, the better.

I hope this piece goes to a home where it can shine as much as this cubs gorgeous eyes.
